Passport Alerts is a mobile application developed by AyeCode Ltd. This privacy policy explains how the app handles your information.
What the App Does
Passport Alerts allows you to track the status of your Irish passport application by checking the official Irish passport tracking service. You can add multiple application reference numbers and receive local notifications when your status changes.
Data We Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. The app operates as follows:
- Application reference numbers you enter are stored locally on your device only, using your device’s storage. They are never sent to AyeCode Ltd or any third party.
- Status checks are performed by your device making a direct request to the Irish passport tracking service. AyeCode Ltd does not proxy, log, or see these requests.
- Notifications are generated locally on your device. No notification data is sent to external servers.
- No analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking libraries are included in this app.
Third-Party Services
The app contacts the Irish government’s passport tracking service (www.passportappointments.ie or equivalent) to retrieve your application status. Please refer to the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs for their data handling practices.
Permissions
The app requests the following device permissions:
